Terms of Service Policy

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of training services provided by EmpowerU Training (“we”, “our”, “us”). By booking or participating in our training, you agree to these Terms.

1. Bookings & Payments

• Bookings must be made through our website or directly with our team.
• Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed (e.g., invoicing for organisations).
• All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and exclude GST where applicable.

2. Cancellations & Reschedules

• You may reschedule a booking with at least 72 hours’ notice.
• Reschedule requests with less than 72 hours’ notice are non-refundable, except in cases of illness or emergency.
• We do not offer refunds for change of mind.
• If EmpowerU Training cancels a course, you will be offered a refund or alternative session.

3. Refunds

Refunds are only available in line with our Cancellation & Reschedule Policy. Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

4. Participant Responsibilities

• Have a computer or laptop with reliable internet access
• A second monitor is recommended
• Use a supported web browser (Microsoft Edge, Chrome, or equivalent)
• Have access to the application being trained on
• Join from a quiet environment free from distractions
• Not record, photograph, or capture training sessions in any way
• Behave respectfully and professionally during training sessions

5. Delivery of Services

• Training is delivered online (via Microsoft Teams or Zoom) unless otherwise agreed
• Session recordings and resources are provided at our discretion and must not be shared without permission. Please see our Copyright Policy
• In-person training is available for organisations, with travel expenses applicable

6. Intellectual Property

• All training content, including materials, guides, videos, and recordings, is owned by EmpowerU Training and protected by copyright laws
• Content is provided for personal or internal business use only and must not be shared, distributed, or reproduced without written permission
• Live sessions must not be screen recorded by participants

7. Limitation of Liability

• EmpowerU Training is not responsible for technical issues on the participant’s side (e.g., poor internet connection, outdated software)
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in training
• Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the training session in question

8. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Personal information is collected and used in line with our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. By booking with EmpowerU Training, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Australian courts.
